Located on top of the historic district of Guangzhou, occupy the last 3 floors of an apartment tower inside a new and exclusive residential compound, W² loft enjoy the best views of the area. The 5m height floor is surrounded by impressive windows and openings to the city. The client wished to take advantage of this situation and create a bright, modern and simple space where gather with the family. This just married young couple paid special attention to the simplicity and comfort of the space. 

Natural materials like wood, white stones and green walls were chosen. In order to increase the functions of the house, a mezzanine was added over the kitchen and dining area. In this second floor we designed a studio with a top light window and a stair up to the roof top. Given the conditions of the south of China weather, warm most part of the year, the creation of outdoor activities to enjoy sunlight, open air and wind was a must. Right under this terrace the main bedroom floor enjoys a generous bathroom and spacious walk in closets for him and her. Crossing the private door and down stairs, the kids and grandparent bedrooms complete the house. Minimalistic and open space language fits the lifestyle of this new generations.
